Aftercare

Your healed result depends on you just as much as it does on me. Post-care is essential to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Please read the following eyebrow aftercare instructions carefully, as they apply to all eyebrow treatments: Microblading, Powder Brows, and Combo Brows. Following these guidelines will help ensure the best results and keep your brows looking beautiful for as long as possible. 

1. Blot brows every 5-10 minutes for the first several hours. 
2. When you get home, gently wash your brows, then pat dry and apply a thin layer of ointment. 
3. Starting the second day, every morning wash your brows with mild soap, rinse, and pat dry. Let air out for 15 minutes before applying aftercare. 
4. Use ointment twice a day for 7 days. Half grain of rice size per brow. 
5. No pools, hot tubs, saunas, sweating, sun, or makeup on or around your brows for 14 days. 

Do not use aggressive skin care products or plan any facials for 4 weeks. 

• Touching the microbladed area except when washing or applying aftercare ointment
• Scratching, picking, or peeling the microbladed area as it can cause scarring and/or color loss
• Apply any makeup, moisturizer, lotion, or sunscreen to your eyebrows. – the goal is to try to keep the brow area clean
• Sun exposure - sun tanning - salon tanning
• Laser or chemical peels and any other form of exfoliation
• Sweating - No working out or engaging in any physical activity that raises your heart rate for 7 days after your procedure. Excessive sweating might absorb the pigment and leave a patchy texture.
• Long, hot baths or showers - saunas - swimming
• Applying any creams to your face or neck containing retinol or glycolic acid
• Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol as can cause wounds to heal slower
• Remember, your permanent makeup is just 50% me. The other 50% is you taking care of the area we worked on and following care 100%!
