Aftercare

Your healed result depends on you just as much as it does on me. Post-care is essential to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Please read the following eyebrow aftercare instructions carefully, as they apply to all eyebrow treatments: Microblading, Powder Brows, and Combo Brows. Following these guidelines will help ensure the best results and keep your brows looking beautiful for as long as possible. 

• Blot brows every 5-10 minutes for the first several hours. 
• Then apply a tiny amount of ointment with q-tip.
• Do not shower for the first 24 hours.
• Try to keep them as dry as possible until they are done flaking.  NO WASHING!
• Use ointment twice daily for 7 days—half a grain of rice size per brow. If you have oily skin, you don't need to use ointment. 
• No pools, hot tubs, saunas, sweating, sun, or makeup on or around your brows for 7 days. 
• Do not use aggressive skin care products or plan any facials for 4 weeks. 

• Touching the microbladed area except when washing or applying aftercare ointment
• Scratching, picking, or peeling the microbladed area as it can cause scarring and/or color loss
• Apply any makeup, moisturizer, lotion, or sunscreen to your eyebrows. – the goal is to try to keep the brow area clean
• Sun exposure - sun tanning - salon tanning
• Laser or chemical peels and any other form of exfoliation
• Sweating - No working out or engaging in any physical activity that raises your heart rate for 7 days after your procedure. Excessive sweating might absorb the pigment and leave a patchy texture.
• Long, hot baths or showers - saunas - swimming
• Applying any creams to your face or neck containing retinol or glycolic acid
• Drinking excessive amounts of alcohol as can cause wounds to heal slower
• Remember, your permanent makeup is just 50% me. The other 50% is you taking care of the area we worked on and following care 100%!
